Note: Colin Blakely was ill during a substantial portion of the play's run and, eventually, had to step down from the role of Daydd; he would die two months after the play closed in the West End. After his illness became too severe to continue in 1987, the role of Daydd was taken over by Russell Dixon, who had originated it in Scarborough in 1984.
